Finally, vindication!
When I was about 11, we got a Sega Mega Drive 2. The rest of the world knows it as Genesis.
Like everyone else of my generation, I moved the controller when I wanted to move my character/vehicle/avatar. In my hands, the little black pod became a steering wheel that I pivoted, or a leash that I used to pull my character up when he jumped.
Of course, I looked stupid. Those things didn’t even have force feedback, much less accelerometers to detect spatial movement. But now, I can claim vengeance!
All those years of implicit learning will finally pay off!
